Healthy Bagel Recipe
If your someone who want to meal prep breakfast so you can just grab it and go day of, then this recipe is for you! They are so easy to make all you need is 5 ingredients. This is a great alternative to a processed bagel. It has Greek yogurt for protein and healthy fats, whole wheat flour for healthy carbs. So pair it right and you will have not only a delicious but super satiating breakfast!
RECIPE:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 egg whisked
Preheat oven to 375F. mix all ingredients together until well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 pieces. On a lightly floured surface roll 1 piece out into a long “snake like” shape. Fold around into a bagel shape and press the end together. Repeat for 3 other pieces. Next take the whisked egg and brush over the top of the bagel. Sprinkle some everything but the bagel seasoning if desired. Place in oven for 25-35 minute or until golden brown.
