10 Random Things I’m Loving

Happy friday friends! starting with a new ’10 random things i’m loving’ blog post seriesfor you guys today!

One. Khiels face mask

This face mask is my holy grail. It does wonders for complexion, helping impurities, and blackheads. I am very blessed to not struggle with acne but I do get blackhead and the occasional break out like any girl. This mask ill do 2x a week to help detox my pours, minimize my blackhead, and honestly just to give myself a little pamper. It is a little more expensive being around $40 for the big jar, however it lasts forever and works!

Two. Set actives workout set

Okay hand down one/ if not my favorite workout brand of all time. I have all the different fabrics, and many different styles. I love this brand! They really work hard to make the sets look chic and fashionable while also doing their job in the gym. I where these set for all my different types of movement: Pilates, strength training, walking, etc. you really can do it all in these. The sculpt flex is like a contour fabric. It really hugs your body. The sports body (probably my favorite) is sleek, smooth, and sculpts yours body. The sports body doesn’t have as much compression as the sculpt flex. Finally the form cloud feels exactly like the name suggests. You feel like you’re in a cloud or being hugged by a blanket. I really cannot say anything bad an out this brand!!

Three. Our place nontoxic air fryer

I currently had made the switch to a nontoxic air fryer and LET ME TELL YOU- the one from Our Place is so amazing. It has so many different features from air fry, toast, to even steaming. It’s very aesthetic, well built, and comes in many different colors. I will keep you posted on how long it last but so far so good!!

Four. Pancake bowls

This one is a must! I have a newfound love for this health protein pancake bowl. It’s so quick and easy. It takes like 3 minutes to whip it together and stick in the microwave. Not only is it high nutritious it’s packed with protein to help you recover after your workouts. You can make it so versatile by changing up the topping! Currently I love adding, nut butter, Golgi berries, fruit (anything I have around the house), cinnamon, or granola. it might not look the prettiest, but I promise this recipe won’t disappoint.

Five. Levi 501 jeans

These jeans are perfect if you’re wanting to go for that straight 90s vibe. I love them! Their affordable- only around $98 for a pair. They are well made and last a while. You can purchase them in different washes to match your vibe. I have them in a light wash and dark. I will say that the darker washes, at least in my experience, run bigger than the lighter ones. Overall great jean option

Six. Nike V2K running shoes

I am OBSSSED- to say the least. I have tried many different workout shoes over the years, but I tend to feel like a lot of them don’t work for my feet. I have extremely high arches and need a shoe that would help me feel support enough without over doing and one that help me not walk on the outside of my foot due to my arch. This one is the TICKET let me tell you. There are some many different colors of it. Honestly, I am always looking to try new workout shoes but these are my favorite thus far.

Seven. Everything shower

I’m always looking for ways to destress, so an everything shower is a MUST. What I love is that they can always change. My current routine is washing my hair, putting a hair mask in (the one I use is below), exfoliating my entire body, shaving, and deep breathing. Oh yeah and a good playlist playing in the background. You could even elevate it a little more by hanging eucalyptus in the shower or lighting a candle. Honestly, the options are endless.

Eight. Wooden cutting board

I recently made the switch from a plastic cutting board to wood. I heard a lot about the concerns of microplastic getting into our foods when we use them. Whether it’s true or not, I decided that I would go ahead and make the switch because I didn’t want to chance it. They might cost more than a plastic cutting board but when it comes to your health, I believe it’s worth the investment. Here is a the one I have from amazon

Nine. Bala ankle weights

I have been a fan of the bala ankle weights for quite some time now. I purchased my first set around 3 years ago – loved them ever since. Their so chic and aesthetic, coming in many different colors to meet your vibe. My first pair were your classic white. They are durable and last forever. Bala carries them in different weights so you can purchase what serves you best. We all love to look cute while we workout so you might as well have cute ankle weights. I do think they are worth the price with how long they have lasted and undergone one of my dogs chewing on it.

Ten. Laying out in the sunshine

Not going to lie I have always loved tanning. I know it might not be the best for my skin, but it makes me feel calm. I notice that my anxiety is reduced in I’m out in the sun, and I feel more alive. Ha-ha I always put on that sunscreen though. My future self might not appreciate it but sometimes you have to do something that will serve you in the moment. Get outside babes, even if you lathered in the sunscreen.
